  38.     You did format the tape first.... right?  (just checking).
  39.     Formatting is important....

  41.     I did have that problem once.... and all I could do is
  42.     do an insert edit to the frame before it... for a total of
  43.     _two_ frames.
  44.     Example:   frame 25 is giving me problems...   so, I
  45.            insert the image at frame _24_ for two frames.
  46.            This gives me this sequence...

  48.            .... 21, 22, 23, 25, 25, 26 ,27...

  51.     I the re-rendered frame 24 and put is where it where it
  52.     should go, finishing the sequence.

  54.     If this tape keeps giving you problems, I'd get a new tape.

  56.     And be sure that you are using a head cleaner on your 9650 at
  57.     the recommended interval.
